From 5 AM dark-road crews to weekend social jogs, the city's running scene has never been more alive.

Three years ago, organised running in Phnom Penh meant one thing: the Phnom Penh Marathon. Today, the city has over a dozen active run clubs, three flagship events before June, and a thriving community of early-morning regulars who know each other by first name.
The shift happened quietly. A few expat runners started groups on Telegram. Khmer athletes who'd trained alone discovered the clubs. Events started pulling 100+ people without mainstream promotion.
The clubs are distinct in flavour. PPRC brings together all paces under an inclusive banner — 'anyone who shows up belongs.' NEAK! is built for the committed. Network GO uses running as a platform for community mission. Each fills a different need.
What they share: consistency. Every club listed on Kehla runs at least weekly. That regularity is what builds community — not events, not gear, not branding. Just showing up, same time, same place, every week.
